After a lot of thought, I've decided to take a break from blogging for the foreseeable future. With my little C creeping its way back into my life and possible long term treatment now, I need to take a couple of things off my plate for the time being, and the blog is going to be one of those things. As it is, it felt like it was becoming more of a chore than anything else. I need my reading time to be more enjoyable right now, more of the escape that I really need, and what I don't need is the little voice in the back of my head telling me how many reviews I'm behind and trying to come up with what I need to say about the book.

I simply want to read.

I'll more than likely occasionally post on here what I've been reading, and if there is something that really blows my mind, I'll probably have more to say about it and may write up a proper post, but for right now, things are going to be very quiet around here.

As always, happy reading!
2017 edit
I will continue to blog according to my health and ability, and connecting my posts thru Goodreads, so please be patient if things get quiet around here again this year.

2017 edit #2
I am happy to report that my bone marrow transplant was a success and that I'm feeling more like myself everyday. That said, I'm going to try to start blogging a little more frequently, but please bare with me as I still continue to recover.

Book Release! James Dashner's The 13th Reality, Book 2: The Hunt for Dark Infinity

Today is the official release date for the next book in James Dashner's The 13th Reality series called The Hunt for Dark Infinity (even though Amazon has it listed as March 4). Last year, I was lucky enough to receive an early reviewer copy of his first book in the series, The Journal of Curious Letters and loved it! You can read my review of that book here. It's a great series and James is one of those authors that I think people should be watching, so use the handy-dandy Amazon links below to order yourself a copy of both books, or help support your local book store and stop by and pick up your copies today! You won't be sorry!!

Well, I'm hoping that mine will have it in too. I may be resorting to Amazon after all. It took FOREVER for my B&N to get it in, so I've already had some of Book 2 put on order, so that they'll get them in sooner than later. Even if I don't pick it up, at least there'll be some on the shelf!

That's a good plan. Been thinking of doing it myself =)

Sadly, the bookstore that I stopped at tonight did not have any copies in, so I guess I either wait for my B&N order to arrive, or I order it from Amazon.

tapestry - amazon keeps pushing my delivery date back. So i cancelled my order with them. Right before I did they switch delievery from mid-march to mid april! And I had paid for shipping even though I qualified for the free shipping. I didn't want to wait the extra week & a half that it usually takes to ship the free stuff. I am miffed at Amazon right now for that.

Thinking I might just have to wait until one of the local chains gets it in, but none will tell me when that will be. =(
