I think I'm going to shut From My Bookshelf down for a while; maybe for good. I've been putting this together for quite a few years now and it's starting to feel a bit more of a chore. I'll keep my Goodreads & Instagram connected, but with the state of the world right now, I just want to read without worrying about making sure I post something about it. Who knows - when the world starts to make some semblance of sense again, I may start actively posting here again. Until then, as always, happy reading!

75 is the new 100!

Who am I kidding? There is NO WAY that I am going to even come close to reaching a 100 book goal this year, so I'm scaling it back to 75. Yes, it's cheating to decide to change my goal this late in the year, but it's my challenge and blog, so I can change it if I want to. So, there!

Very mature, right?

I will, however, be trying for 100 again next year. I have a plan! Of course, I had a plan this year, and that flew right out the window by March, but I think I have a more achievable plan for next year, but more on that later.

And is there no one out there who is willing to help me with my Baker's Dozen Challenge for next year?

Invest in an eReader, like the nook or Sony eReader...they help. =)

I also changed my reading goal this year mid way through. Though went the opposite of you. From 75 to 100...we can say that we just switched places.
