Sean Madigan Hoen stopped by Schuler Books earlier today to promote the release of his new memoir, Songs Only You Know. I was unfamiliar with Hoen, but events coordinator at Schuler, my friend Whitney, talked me into coming to the event, and I'm glad that I did. It may not have normally been the type of book that I would have read (the memoir is about Hoen's time in the punk rock scene in Detroit in his teens), but I think that I'm going to find the book fascinating.
